A leading veterinary organization in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Medical Director to provide both clinical leadership and operational guidance for their award-winning hospital. This role combines hands-on patient care with strategic mentorship, shaping the hospital’s culture and guiding a team of veterinarians toward continued growth and excellence.
The Medical Director will partner with hospital leadership to maintain high medical standards, mentor associate doctors, and support the hospital’s long-term development while practicing outstanding veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional veterinary care for companion animals.
Mentor associate veterinarians, supporting clinical development and continuing education.
Maintain and enhance hospital medical protocols and standards.
Collaborate with hospital leadership on strategy, growth, and operational planning.
Foster a positive, collaborative hospital culture.
Build strong relationships with clients and the local community.
Support team development initiatives, including professional training and CE opportunities.
Candidate Profile
US-licensed DVM or DVM equivalent.
Experienced in mentoring, leadership, and team development.
Passionate about both veterinary medicine and supporting the growth of other professionals.
Strong commitment to client care and community engagement.
Interested in shaping the culture and future direction of a growing hospital.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary $140K–$150K+, with pro-sal or salary options and potential sign-on bonus or relocation package.
