About the Practice
The hospital provides emergency and specialty care, including cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, neurology, radiation oncology, medical oncology, and rehabilitative medicine. Facilities include an I-131 treatment center, ultrasound, digital radiography, linear accelerator, CT, MRI, and in-house diagnostics, enabling rapid, accurate treatment decisions.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups for emergency and critical care cases
Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery, including dental procedures
Educate clients and communicate effectively regarding treatment plans
Maintain accurate medical records and follow controlled substance protocols
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
Participate in hospital rounds, protocol evaluation, and practice management updates
Promote efficiency and teamwork across all staff
Candidate Profile
DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution
Current veterinary license in good standing and DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Minimum 1+ years of emergency veterinary experience
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills
Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities
Physically able to perform clinical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to compassionate patient care
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in cardiovascular, respiratory, orthopedic, neurological, and emergency assessments
Ability to provide constructive feedback and contribute to team development
Knowledge of hospital management, ethics, and financial operations
Commitment to continuing education and professional growth
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $150,000–$185,000 USD with production incentives
Signing, retention, and relocation packages up to $75,000
Flexible scheduling: work 2 weeks out of every 6 with 7 days off between blocks
