Salary: £30,000-£36,000, dependent on experience


About the Role

We are representing a well-established independent veterinary group in the Worthing area that is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their team on a part-time basis.

This role is based within a first-opinion branch practice that benefits from close links to advanced hospital facilities, offering exposure to both routine and more complex cases within a supportive and collaborative environment.


About the Practice

The group operates multiple branch clinics alongside state-of-the-art hospital facilities, allowing nurses to be involved in:

  • First-opinion medical and surgical cases

  • Advanced diagnostics

  • Rehabilitation and inpatient care

The wider team is large, experienced, and highly collaborative, with a strong focus on clinical excellence, learning, and staff wellbeing. Ongoing professional development is actively encouraged, including support for certificates and specialist interests.


Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient nursing care

  • Assisting with anaesthesia, surgery, and patient monitoring

  • Supporting consultations and diagnostic procedures

  • Contributing to rehabilitation and recovery plans

  • Maintaining clinical standards and infection control

  • Participating in the shared weekend rota


About You

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

  • Confident in general small animal nursing duties

  • Interest in advanced nursing, diagnostics, or rehabilitation welcomed

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Reliable and flexible within a part-time rota
