Senior Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9:00am – 1:00pm)

Facilities are modern and well-equipped, including a dedicated operating theatre, dental radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory.

Responsibilities
Delivering high-quality consultations and surgical procedures
Supporting and mentoring junior veterinary team members
Contributing to clinical leadership and decision-making
Maintaining excellent client communication and continuity of care
Ensuring high clinical standards and best practice protocols
Participating in a 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota
Collaborating closely with the wider veterinary and nursing team
Candidate Profile
MRCVS-qualified Veterinary Surgeon
Experienced in small animal practice, with strong clinical skills
Confident in both consulting and surgery
A supportive and collaborative team player
Interested in contributing to clinical leadership and team development
Committed to ongoing professional development (CPD)
Passionate about delivering tailored patient care
