About the Role
They are seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Veterinarian (DVM/VMD) to join a thriving small animal practice in Dallas, TX. This role offers veterinarians—both experienced and recent graduates—the chance to provide high-quality urgent and general veterinary care in a supportive, collaborative environment.
This position is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy a fast-paced, flexible practice and want to grow their skills in preventive medicine, surgery, and diagnostics while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Evening shifts are available with expanded hours up to 11 PM, providing a unique opportunity for flexibility.
Working Hours:
Flexible shifts between 8 AM – 11 PM, Monday through Sunday

Provide urgent and general veterinary care including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment planning
Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients and educate clients on preventive medicine
Build strong relationships with clients and the local community
Collaborate with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
Support practice growth, compliance, and best medical practices
Candidate Profile
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
Active or eligible U.S. veterinary licensure
Skilled in preventive care, general surgery, and dentistry
Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced urgent care environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passionate about providing exceptional animal care
Availability for evening shifts as part of the schedule
Compensation & Benefits
Generous compensation with sign-on and retention bonuses available (Ranging from $175,000 to $195,000)
