Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-focused, relationship-based urgent care

  • Manage a caseload including minor surgeries and appointments during open hours

  • Collaborate with clinical team and leadership to ensure smooth operations

  • Support and mentor technical staff through internal training programs

  • Engage with clients and the local community to build trust and rapport

  • Maintain high-quality standards for all clinical care

Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an AVMA-accredited college, or completion of ECFVG/PAVE

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois

  • Comfortable with urgent care medicine including minor procedures and common illnesses

  • Strong communication and client-service skills

  • Collaborative and adaptable team player

  • Interest in mentoring and supporting technical staff
