About the Role

A growing specialty veterinary hospital in Arden Hills, Minnesota is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Oncologist to join its expanding oncology service. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative, multi-specialty environment while delivering advanced cancer care to companion animals.

Due to continued growth in caseload, the team is adding an additional oncologist to support high-quality medicine, strong case collaboration, and sustainable work-life balance.

This state-of-the-art specialty and emergency hospital offers 24/7 care and supports a wide range of referral services. The oncology service benefits from:

  • Dedicated oncology technician support

  • Close collaboration with specialists in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Critical Care, Dentistry, and Diagnostic Imaging

  • Advanced diagnostic capabilities including CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, and endoscopy

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive oncology consultations, diagnostics, and treatment plans

  • Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary specialty team

  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with referring veterinarians and pet owners

  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records

  • Participate in continuing education, mentorship, and case collaboration

  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the oncology service

Candidate Profile

  • Board-Certified Veterinary Oncologist or residency-trained candidate

  • Eligible for state veterinary licensure

  • Strong clinical skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: USD $175,000 – $300,000 (total compensation, inclusive of production)
