Veterinary Radiologist – San Rafael, California
Salary: $275,000 – $350,000 | Full-time | Sign-On & Relocation Bonus
About the Role
A leading 24-hour specialty and emergency hospital in San Rafael, California is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Radiologist to join their growing radiology team. This position offers the opportunity to provide advanced imaging services, including ultrasounds, radiographs, CT, and MRI interpretation, as well as assist with ultrasound-guided procedures.
The role includes limited on-call responsibilities (2–3 weekend days per month, a few hours each day) with flexibility to pick up additional shifts. This position is ideal for both experienced radiologists and recent residency graduates seeking a collaborative, high-volume specialty hospital.
About the Practice
The hospital is a state-of-the-art, 30,000 sq. ft. facility featuring:
Hallmarq MRI and Toshiba CT machine
GE C-arm fluoroscopy unit and multiple x-ray units
Central ICU, dedicated Endoscopy and Ultrasound rooms
Expansive natural light and hilltop views
The team includes emergency doctors, criticalists, internists, surgeons, neurologists, cardiologists, ophthalmologists, and highly skilled support staff. Responsibilities
Provide high-level imaging interpretation for radiographs, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures
Collaborate with specialists and support staff to provide integrated patient care
Contribute to a culture of mentorship, professional growth, and collaboration
Participate in departmental planning and imaging protocol development
Candidate Profile
Board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Radiologist
Experienced with advanced imaging modalities, including CT and MRI

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $275,000 – $350,000, with additional production potential
