Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Practice – Leicestershire

Employment Type: Full-time (4 days per week) or part-time considered
Weekends: 1 in 4 weekend rota (OOH), plus one night on call during the week
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role
We are working on behalf of a friendly, independent small animal practice in Leicestershire that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team. This 3.5 vet practice offers a supportive and structured working day with a balance of consultations and surgery.
Morning clinics run with two vets consulting and one vet operating, with 15-minute appointment slots between 9:00am and 11:15am. Afternoons are covered by three vets consulting between 2:00pm and 5:00pm, with the last appointment at 5:00pm.
This role is ideal for a vet seeking a welcoming, close-knit team with a strong emphasis on teamwork and client care.

Key Responsibilities

Providing first-opinion consultations and surgery

About You

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

Comfortable with a mix of consultations and surgery

Strong communication and teamwork skills
