Location: Manchester - Commutable from Altrincham and Timperley 
Hours: Full Time, 4-Day Week
Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturdays (10am–1pm)
OOH: None

Join a Supportive, Independent Practice Seeking a Confident All-Round Veterinary Surgeon

They are looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon with strong experience in sole charge, consultations, and theatre work. This is an ideal role for a capable all-rounder who enjoys clinical freedom and continuity of care within a friendly, well-supported team.
 
You’ll be stepping into a practice with a loyal client base, a collaborative culture, and exciting long-term stability as the current owner moves toward retirement in December 2025.

Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Weekdays: 9am–7pm
     
  • Consults: Morning and evening sessions
     
  • Theatre: Typically 11am–3pm (varies with caseload)
     
  • Balance of surgical and medical cases
     
  • Rotas may adjust once another full-time vet joins
     
  • Engaged, hands-on role with a varied caseload and clinical autonomy
     

About the Practice

You’ll be joining a small, dedicated team including:
  • 1 Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon
     
  • 1 Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon
     
  • Owner (Vet) working 4 shorter days until retirement in 2025
     
  • 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses
     
  • 1 Student Veterinary Nurse
     
  • 1 Veterinary Care Assistant
     
  • 2 Receptionists
     
  • Practice Manager
