Responsibilities
Perform advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures
Manage referral and in-house surgical cases from consultation through post-operative care
Collaborate with emergency clinicians, specialists, and rehabilitation professionals to provide integrated patient care
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools including CT imaging and minimally invasive surgical equipment
Communicate treatment plans, surgical risks, and outcomes clearly with pet owners
Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of surgical care
Contribute to mentorship and collaboration within the veterinary team
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution
Residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Surgeon (DACVS or equivalent)
Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Oklahoma
Strong expertise in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery
Excellent communication and client education skills
Collaborative mindset and commitment to high-quality patient outcomes
Interest in working within a multidisciplinary referral and emergency hospital environment
