Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures

  • Manage referral and in-house surgical cases from consultation through post-operative care

  • Collaborate with emergency clinicians, specialists, and rehabilitation professionals to provide integrated patient care

  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools including CT imaging and minimally invasive surgical equipment

  • Communicate treatment plans, surgical risks, and outcomes clearly with pet owners

  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of surgical care

  • Contribute to mentorship and collaboration within the veterinary team

Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution

  • Residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Surgeon (DACVS or equivalent)

  • Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Oklahoma

  • Strong expertise in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery

  • Excellent communication and client education skills
