Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical exams and diagnose medical conditions in companion animals

  • Develop treatment plans and provide preventative healthcare services

  • Perform routine surgical procedures and dentistry as appropriate

  • Utilize diagnostic tools including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment

  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment options and ongoing care

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records

  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient care

  • Uphold the highest standards of veterinary ethics and medical practice

Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited university

  • Eligible for veterinary licensure in Arkansas

  • Ability to obtain DEA registration and USDA accreditation

  • Strong communication and client relationship skills

  • Compassionate, collaborative, and team-oriented approach

  • Interest in practicing general medicine and surgery
