Responsibilities
Provide emergency and critical care treatment for companion animals
Perform emergency diagnostics and develop treatment plans
Stabilize and manage urgent and life-threatening cases
Perform emergency surgical procedures as needed
Utilize diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, digital radiography, and in-house laboratory testing
Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners during critical situations
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver efficient emergency care
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited university
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Arkansas
Ability to obtain DEA registration and USDA accreditation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment
Team-oriented mindset with a compassionate approach to patient care
