Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all medical operations and clinical teams
Establish and maintain medical protocols and best practices
Mentor and develop associate veterinarians and clinical staff
Collaborate with hospital leadership on strategy, growth, and performance
Monitor clinical outcomes and implement continuous improvements
Support complex case management and quality assurance
Uphold exceptional standards of patient care and client communication
Serve as a medical leader within professional and regulatory settings
Candidate Profile
DVM or equivalent, licensed and in good standing in California
DEA license required
3–5+ years of clinical experience, with leadership or mentorship experience preferred
Strong clinical foundation across general practice medicine
Proven leadership and team development capabilities
Strategic mindset with understanding of veterinary operations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Calm, adaptable approach to complex clinical and operational challenges
Commitment to the highest standards of veterinary medicine and ethics
