Responsibilities
Clinical (80–90%)
Deliver high-quality small animal medicine and surgery across a varied caseload
Perform diagnostics, preventative care, and advanced procedures
Manage urgent and complex cases with confidence
Build strong client relationships through clear communication and education
Lead by example in clinical excellence and professionalism
Leadership (10–20%)
Guide and uphold clinical standards and protocols across the hospital
Act as a medical resource for veterinarians and support staff
Partner with leadership to improve workflows and patient outcomes
Support a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
Eligible for or holding a Kansas veterinary license
Experienced veterinarian with strong clinical skills
Previous leadership experience is advantageous but not essential
Passion for mentorship, collaboration, and high-quality medicine
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
