Key Responsibilities

Plan and complete statutory audit assignments from start to finish.

Deliver audit work to a high professional and technical standard.

Prepare and review audit files, working papers, and documentation.

Ensure compliance with UK auditing standards and financial reporting regulations.

Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information and discuss audit findings.

Identify and resolve audit issues efficiently.

Support junior members of the audit team where required.

Work alongside senior leadership to ensure audit deadlines and quality standards are met.
Requirements

Strong experience completing statutory audits independently.

Ability to plan and complete audit assignments without training or close supervision.

Good knowledge of UK auditing standards and accounting principles.

Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professional client relationships.

ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience, would be advantageous.
