Role Overview:
This role involves working across a mix of corporate and personal tax compliance and advisory work. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, support junior team members, and provide expert advice on tax planning and restructuring.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance:

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, limited companies, and sole traders

Ensure all compliance deadlines are met and maintain accurate HMRC submissions

Stay up to date with UK tax legislation changes
Advisory:

Provide tax planning and advisory services, identifying opportunities for savings

Advise clients on tax implications of business decisions and transactions

Support business restructuring and offer tax-efficient guidance

Build strong client relationships and act as a primary tax contact
General Duties:

Work closely with other departments to deliver integrated client services

Mentor and support junior team members

Contribute to business development efforts and attend networking events

Continuously seek ways to improve internal processes and client service delivery
Required Qualifications & Experience

ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or equivalent). ATT or QBE also considered

Minimum 10 years’ experience in a mixed tax role within practice

Strong technical UK tax knowledge and excellent client relationship skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and coach junior team members
