About the Role
Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a Part-Qualified Auditor (Audit Associate) to join their expanding Manchester Audit team. This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit assignments, supporting junior team members, and managing strong client relationships. You’ll play a key role in contributing to the overall success and development of the wider business while progressing through your professional qualifications.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with the planning, execution and completion of audit engagements.

Lead fieldwork on-site and remotely, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Produce audit files for senior review, clearly highlighting risks and proposed solutions.

Prepare reports and contribute to Audit Findings discussions with clients.

Monitor progress against budget and communicate variances to management.

Ensure risk management procedures and compliance requirements are followed.

Maintain strong written and verbal communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
People Responsibilities

Support and mentor junior colleagues, providing coaching and knowledge sharing.

Participate in firm-wide and service line initiatives.

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
-
Currently studying ACA or ACCA.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in external audit (UK GAAP preferred).

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Experience working with audit methodologies or audit software is advantageous.
