Key Responsibilities 

As part of the Carmarthen team, you will: 

  • Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs, and limited companies using IRIS or similar accounting software 

  • Manage VAT submissions, monthly and quarterly accounting for owner-managed businesses 

  • Complete self-assessment and corporation tax returns 

  • Use accounting software such as Sage 50, QuickBooks, or Xero 

  • Leverage digital technology to provide clients with real-time management accounts 

  • Support the firm with other business tasks as required 

Candidate Requirements 

They are seeking someone who is: 

  • Qualified or Part Qualified ACA, ACCA, CTA, AAT, or qualified by experience 

  • Team-oriented, motivated, and able to influence team performance positively 

  • Deadline-driven, with a desire to exceed client expectations 

  • Enthusiastic, hardworking, with strong communication skills 

  • Detail-oriented with strong technical accounting competency 

  • Confident managing own workload and coaching junior staff
