Key Responsibilities
-
Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
-
Assist in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
-
Conduct bookkeeping and prepare VAT returns
-
Support in the production of management accounts
-
Communicate directly with clients to resolve queries and gather information
-
Ensure all work is compliant with current UK accounting standards
Key Requirements
-
AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice

Proficient in cloud-based accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)

Strong understanding of UK accounting and tax principles
-
Detail-oriented with excellent time management

Able to manage a varied client portfolio effectively
