A small, rural accountancy practice just outside Hereford is seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior or Senior to join their supportive team. This role offers exposure to a variety of accounts and tax matters, ideal for candidates looking to progress their career in a friendly and collaborative environment.

Accounts Semi-Senior / Senior Responsibilities
Prepare statutory accounts and Corporation Tax computations
Prepare sole trader and partnership accounts with associated tax returns
Prepare and/or review client VAT returns
Assist clients with bookkeeping and day-to-day queries
Support colleagues with ad hoc assignments and contribute to wider team efforts
Work collaboratively while managing your own portfolio and deadlines
Candidate Requirements
AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience
Prior experience in an accountancy practice preferred
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage own workload effectively while collaborating with colleagues
Proficiency in accounting software such as Excel, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, IRIS
Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach
