The Role of Semi Senior / Senior Accountant
This Accounts Semi Senior / Senior Accountant role in Coventry offers a varied workload across accounts production, tax compliance, and client advisory.
You will manage your own workload while supporting senior team members and working closely with clients to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing statutory accounts for SME clients
- Preparing personal and corporation tax returns
- Producing management accounts and financial reports
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Supporting clients with accounting and tax queries
- Liaising directly with clients to discuss accounts and tax matters
- Ensuring work is delivered accurately and to deadline
- Supporting senior staff and contributing to team workflow
- Maintaining strong client relationships
About You - Accountant Jobs Coventry
The firm is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented accountant with experience in accountancy practice.
You will ideally have:
- Experience working within a UK accountancy practice
- Experience preparing accounts and tax returns
- Knowledge of VAT and management accounts
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
- AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or QBE
