The Role of Semi Senior / Senior Accountant
This Accounts Semi Senior / Senior Accountant role in Coventry offers a varied workload across accounts production, tax compliance, and client advisory.
You will manage your own workload while supporting senior team members and working closely with clients to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing statutory accounts for SME clients
Preparing personal and corporation tax returns
Producing management accounts and financial reports
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Supporting clients with accounting and tax queries
Liaising directly with clients to discuss accounts and tax matters
Ensuring work is delivered accurately and to deadline
Supporting senior staff and contributing to team workflow
Maintaining strong client relationships
About You - Accountant Jobs Coventry
The firm is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented accountant with experience in accountancy practice.
You will ideally have:
Experience working within a UK accountancy practice
Experience preparing accounts and tax returns
Knowledge of VAT and management accounts
Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients
Good organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or QBE
Location and Working Arrangements
Based in Coventry
