Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – £29,000–£33,000 | Oxford

Salary: £29,000–£33,000 (based on a 40-hour week, dependent on experience)
Hours: Full time – 30–40 hours per week (4- or 5-day week available)
Weekends: Shared Saturday morning rota
OOHs: None

The Role

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), you’ll be involved in every aspect of practice life — from inpatient care and surgical support to nurse consultations and lab work.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality inpatient care and monitoring recovery

  • Supporting surgical and anaesthetic procedures

  • Conducting nurse clinics and providing client advice

  • Assisting with lab diagnostics and equipment maintenance

  • Working closely with the veterinary team to ensure smooth clinical operations

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is:

  • RCVS registered (or eligible to register)

  • Enthusiastic, compassionate, and a strong team player

  • Confident in a range of clinical and surgical nursing tasks

  • Keen to develop further through supported CPD opportunities
