Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Independent Practice – Chiswick & Fulham

Location: Chiswick & Fulham
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (Maternity cover also available)
Hours: Primarily daytime hours; occasional out-of-hours cover if required
Weekends: Shared weekend rota
Salary: Salary: £33,000 to £36,000 per annum dependent on experience (plus paid overtime)


About the Role

We are representing, a modern and community-focused independent veterinary practice, who are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their friendly and supportive team. This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, with the option to cover a maternity leave contract if preferred.

This is a hands-on and varied nursing role where you will be actively involved in all areas of patient care. The practice prides itself on maintaining a positive working culture, encouraging clinical development, and providing high standards of care to patients and clients.


About the Practice

This is a well-regarded independent practice with a strong focus on teamwork, staff wellbeing, and progressive clinical standards. The practice is fully equipped with modern technology to support comprehensive veterinary care, including:

  • Anaesthesia and surgical facilities

  • Radiography and CT imaging

  • Dentistry equipment

  • Dedicated nurse consultation spaces

  • Inpatient facilities and monitoring equipment


Key Responsibilities

  • Providing inpatient and ward-based nursing care

  • Assisting with anaesthesia and surgical procedures

  • Performing radiography and supporting CT imaging

  • Conducting nurse consultations and client education

  • Working collaboratively with the wider veterinary team

  • Participating in the weekend rota and occasional OOH cover if required


About You

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse (essential)

  • Confident in all aspects of small animal nursing

  • Strong communication and client-facing skills

  • Positive, proactive, and compassionate approach

  • Flexible to participate in shared rota commitments
