Hours: Full-Time: 4-day week with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings or Part-Time: 3-day week with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
OOHs: None
Sole Charge: Only on Saturday mornings (consults only)

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a supportive, independent team where you can build lasting client relationships and enjoy a great work-life balance?

The community-based small animal practice is owned and managed by the Vet Director who work closely with the team to deliver exceptional, continuity-focused care.
 
You’ll join a friendly, experienced team of 3 full-time vets, 5 RVNs, and a dedicated reception team, all passionate about supporting one another and delivering outstanding veterinary care.

 

About the Role

This role offers an exciting, varied caseload of surgery and consultations — with no out-of-hours and plenty of support from the nursing and reception teams.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform consultations and routine surgeries to a high clinical standard
  • Build strong client relationships through compassionate care and communication
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure smooth daily workflow
  • Manage cases confidently with continuity of care in mind
  • Participate in the Saturday morning consult rota (supported by RVN + 2 receptionists)
