About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy and supportive charity hospital in Thamesmead, London. This role is ideal for a vet looking to make a genuine impact, working with a diverse caseload while supporting pets and owners in need.

Salary: £48,000 – £62,000 per annum (including allowances)
Location: Thamesmead, London
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, full-time
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract

Responsibilities
The Veterinary Surgeon will play a key role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
Providing clinical care across consultations and surgery
Managing a varied and often complex caseload
Developing practical, welfare-focused treatment plans
Communicating effectively with clients about treatment options and costs
Working collaboratively within a supportive, multidisciplinary team
Contributing to clinical discussions and service improvement
Candidate Profile
They are seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) who is adaptable and compassionate.
Confident managing a broad caseload
Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
