This opportunity offers a competitive salary of $120,000–$140,000 annually along with a sign-on bonus of up to $50,000 and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive examinations and diagnostics for companion animals and exotic pets

  • Diagnose and treat medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses

  • Perform surgical procedures and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications

  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and laboratory testing to support patient care

  • Educate pet owners on preventative medicine, treatment plans, and wellness care

  • Provide compassionate end-of-life counseling and support for pet owners

  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with veterinary standards and regulations

  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to maintain a positive and efficient clinical environment

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited AVMA institution

  • Active veterinary license (or eligibility) in Ohio

  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD licensure

  • Strong communication and client relationship skills

  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine

  • Interest in diagnostics, surgery, and working with diverse species
