Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency veterinary care to small animal patients
Assess, diagnose, and treat urgent and critical medical conditions
Perform emergency surgical procedures, particularly soft tissue surgeries
Develop and implement diagnostic and treatment plans for emergency cases
Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support teams to deliver efficient patient care
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and outcomes
Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records
Participate in team discussions, case reviews, and clinical collaboration
Support a positive and collaborative hospital culture
Candidate Profile

Requirements include:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school
Active veterinary license in Ohio or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
Passion for emergency and critical care veterinary medicine
Confidence performing emergency diagnostics, treatment, and soft tissue surgery
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
