A respected small animal veterinary clinic in Ocean Hills, California is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join their dedicated veterinary team. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate veterinarian who enjoys providing high-quality small animal medicine and surgery while maintaining an excellent work–life balance.
Working with an experienced veterinary support team, the successful candidate will deliver exceptional patient care, preventative medicine, diagnostics, and surgical services to a loyal client base of pet owners.
This role offers a consistent three-day work week, allowing veterinarians to enjoy flexibility while still practising high-level clinical veterinary medicine.
The Role
As a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive small animal veterinary services, ensuring pets receive the highest standard of medical and surgical care. You will play an important role in maintaining strong client relationships and supporting preventative health initiatives.
This position is well suited to a veterinarian who values patient care, teamwork, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality small animal veterinary medicine and surgical services

Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment plans

Carry out routine and advanced veterinary surgical procedures

Provide preventative care, including vaccinations and wellness consultations

Educate pet owners on treatment options, ongoing care, and preventative health

Maintain accurate and compliant veterinary medical records

Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient care

Stay up to date with advances in veterinary medicine and surgical techniques

Candidate Requirements
Education & Licensing

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent

Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in California
