A well-established small animal veterinary hospital in Lisle, IL is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative and experienced clinical team. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary services including wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, diagnostics, and surgical procedures.
The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology, including an in-house IDEXX laboratory suite, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and both therapeutic and surgical lasers. Veterinarians benefit from separate dental and surgical suites and a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, allowing doctors to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical workups for companion animals
Provide surgical, dental, and diagnostic care while maintaining high medical standards
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care
Maintain accurate medical records and follow regulatory protocols for medications and controlled substances
Collaborate with veterinary technicians, support staff, and hospital leadership to ensure smooth hospital operations
Monitor hospitalized cases and participate in daily patient care discussions when appropriate
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited institution
Licensed (or eligible) to practice veterinary medicine in Illinois
DEA registration or willingness to obtain
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Collaborative team player with a positive and professional approach
Open to both new graduate and experienced veterinarians
