Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive examinations and diagnostic work-ups for companion animals

  • Diagnose and treat medical conditions, illnesses, and injuries

  • Perform surgical and dental procedures when appropriate

  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care

  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow regulatory and hospital protocols

  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinical operations

  • Participate in daily rounds and case monitoring to maintain high standards of patient care

  • Support practice development and team collaboration initiatives

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution

  • Active veterinary license or eligibility to practice in Ohio

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain DEA registration

  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and clinical skills

  • Excellent communication and client relationship abilities

  • A collaborative approach to working within a team-focused hospital environment

At least one year of clinical experience is preferred, though new graduates and internship-trained veterinarians are welcome to apply.
