Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive examinations and diagnostic work-ups for companion animals
Diagnose and treat medical conditions, illnesses, and injuries
Perform surgical and dental procedures when appropriate
Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care
Maintain accurate patient records and follow regulatory and hospital protocols
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinical operations
Participate in daily rounds and case monitoring to maintain high standards of patient care
Support practice development and team collaboration initiatives
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
Active veterinary license or eligibility to practice in Ohio
Eligibility to obtain and maintain DEA registration
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and clinical skills
Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
A collaborative approach to working within a team-focused hospital environment
At least one year of clinical experience is preferred, though new graduates and internship-trained veterinarians are welcome to apply.
