Salary: £25,000–£32,000 (DOE & qualifications)
Location: Liverpool (hybrid opportunities may be available)
Hours: 9:00–17:00, Monday–Friday, 1-hour lunch
Holidays: 20 days plus Bank Holidays, additional day off on your birthday

Key Responsibilities
As an Accounting & Tax Associate, you will:

Prepare accounts and bookkeeping for clients

Complete Corporation Tax computations and returns
-
Process VAT returns
-
Assist with Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships

Handle basic Company Secretarial duties

Work under the supervision of Senior Associates, Client Managers, and Partners
Candidate Requirements
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice

Strong accuracy and attention to detail
-
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
-
Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, Sage is essential
-
Experience with CCH software preferred but not essential

Understanding of basic accounting principles and ability to perform technical tasks
