With several offices and ambitious growth plans, they are now looking for an Accounts Senior to join their Oxford team. This is a permanent, flexible role, with hybrid working options allowing you to flex your hours to suit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
Build long-lasting client relationships across a diverse portfolio
Manage complex accounts assignments across multiple sectors
Prepare working papers, statutory accounts, and management accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships
Prepare and review corporation tax computations
Use various accounting software including CCH, Sage, and Xero
Apply and develop technical and commercial knowledge
Supervise, train, and mentor junior team members
Ensure assignments are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard
Collaborate with team members to deliver a positive client experience
Requirements
ACCA/ACA qualified or finalist
Minimum 3 years’ UK practice experience
Experience with FRS102 1A essential
Knowledge of SRA, international accounts, consolidated accounts, or charity accounts is advantageous
Excellent communication, client management, and interpersonal skills
Strong IT skills, especially Excel, and ability to quickly learn new software
Exceptional attention to detail, proactive, and confident
Enjoys working in a team environment and mentoring junior staff
