The Role of Accounts Senior (Accountancy Practice Bath)
As an Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounts preparation, tax compliance, and financial reporting services to a varied portfolio of clients.
You will work with owner-managed businesses, SMEs, partnerships, and charities, building strong relationships and supporting their financial success.
Key Responsibilities

Preparing year-end statutory accounts and management accounts

Assisting with tax computations and supporting schedules

Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients

Ensuring work is delivered accurately and within deadlines
-
Building strong, long-term client relationships

Supporting and mentoring junior team members

Identifying opportunities for business development and added-value services
-
Maintaining high standards of compliance and financial reporting

Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
About You - Accounts Senior Bath
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and client-focused practice accountant looking to develop within a growing and dynamic firm.
Skill and experience required:

Experience within a UK accountancy practice

Experience preparing accounts for SME clients

Knowledge of partnerships, companies, and charities

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor junior staff

A desire to grow both technically and commercially
ACA / ACCA qualification (or working towards) is beneficial but not essential.
