Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 depending on experience

A forward-thinking and rapidly growing accountancy and business advisory firm is seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager or Senior Manager to join its established audit and accounts team. The Role
Working closely with Directors and senior leadership, you will take responsibility for managing a varied client portfolio while overseeing the delivery of high-quality audit and accounts services.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing and developing your own portfolio of audit and accounts clients

Planning, managing and delivering audit and statutory accounts engagements from start to finish

Working closely with Directors to identify opportunities to add value and provide proactive advice

Acting as a trusted adviser and main point of contact for clients

Building strong, long-term client relationships across a diverse range of sectors

Coaching, mentoring and developing audit seniors and trainees

Ensuring high technical standards, efficiency, and excellent client service throughout all assignments
About You
-
ACA or ACCA qualified

Currently operating at Audit & Accounts Manager or Senior Manager level within a UK accountancy practice

Experienced in leading audits for owner-managed businesses and SMEs
-
Technically strong with a good understanding of UK accounting and auditing standards (FRS 102 / UK GAAP)

Confident managing teams and motivating others

Commercially aware with strong client relationship and communication skills

Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and growth-focused environment

Technically capable, with experience of modern audit and accounts software (CCH experience beneficial but not essential)
