Audit Manager Job Location

The Role
Reporting directly to the Directors and Regional Director, the Audit Manager will take ownership of a diverse audit and assurance portfolio, ensuring high-quality delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.
You will play a key role in managing client relationships, leading audit teams, and supporting the continued growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage and deliver audit and assurance assignments
Manage audit timetables, budgets, and quality standards
Supervise and develop junior staff in the UK and India
Act as the main point of contact for clients during audits
Review audit files and provide technical guidance
Advise clients on business improvements and best practice
Ensure timely billing and fee recovery
Liaise regularly with offshore teams
Travel to other group offices and client sites when required
Business Development
Support the business development team with new client acquisition
Meet prospective clients and assist with proposals and tenders
Identify opportunities to introduce additional services to existing clients
Skills and Experience Required
ACA or ACCA qualified
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience within practice
Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS
Consolidation experience essential, including overseas subsidiaries
Sound understanding of ISAs
Confident managing teams of up to 10 staff
Strong report writing and client communication skills
Experience using CaseWare, IRIS, and familiarity with Mercia methodology
