Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Audit Senior / Supervisor to join their Audit & Accounts team. Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee audit assignments from planning through to completion, reporting to Managers and Partners

Act as on-site senior, managing audit fieldwork including compliance and substantive testing

Supervise, delegate to, and review the work of semi-senior and junior team members

Prepare accurate draft statutory accounts with minimal review points

Produce high-quality, paperless audit files in line with firm standards

Liaise directly with clients, agreeing audit adjustments and disclosure requirements

Manage audit assignments to agreed budgets and timelines

Identify and resolve technical issues, escalating where appropriate

Keep senior management informed of audit progress and key issues

Assist with ad hoc and specialist assignments as required
Ideal Candidate Profile

ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or finalist

Strong experience delivering audits from planning to completion

Up-to-date knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards

Experience preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, groups, LLPs, partnerships and charities

Confident communicator with the ability to build long-term client relationships

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

High levels of attention to detail and technical competence

Proactive, driven, and keen to progress within a growing firm

Working knowledge of IRIS, Microsoft Office and cloud accounting software is beneficial but not essential
