A growing Nottingham-based accountancy firm is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to take responsibility for a varied client portfolio and support junior team members.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy end-to-end client work, combining technical accounting, compliance, and advisory support. You will work closely with managers and partners to deliver high-quality services across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review statutory and management accounts

Produce personal and corporate tax computations

Maintain and review client bookkeeping records

Prepare and submit VAT returns

Support payroll processing when required

Liaise directly with clients on financial matters

Review work completed by junior staff

Ensure compliance with HMRC and statutory deadlines

Bookkeeping and cloud accounting systems

Experience and Qualifications Required

Previous experience in an accountancy practice

Part-qualified, ACA/ACCA qualified, or QBE

Strong accounts preparation and tax compliance skills

Experience with bookkeeping and VAT returns
