About the Role
A Senior Adviser (Audit & Accounting) is required to join the growing audit, accounting, and advisory team. This role is ideal for candidates with part- or post-exam ACA/ACCA experience, seeking to progress within a supportive and dynamic team.
Key responsibilities include:

Deliver statutory audits, charity independent examinations, and Solicitors’ Accounts Rules assignments (approx. 75% of role)

Prepare year-end accounts and support ad hoc advisory projects

Work at client premises across Lancashire and Greater Manchester and at the Bury office

Build client relationships and collaborate closely with corporate tax colleagues

Mentor and support junior team members

Take ownership of smaller audits with guidance from managers

Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and quality
Candidate Requirements
Ideal candidates will have:

Some experience in audit and/or accounting roles

Interest in progressing within audit or mixed accounting roles

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with clients at all levels

Positive, resilient, and motivated approach

Initiative and organisational skills to work under pressure

Quarterly performance reviews and optional 1-2-1s
