Role Overview
The Registered Veterinary Nurse will support day-to-day clinical operations, assisting with consultations, diagnostics, surgery, and inpatient care within a busy first-opinion setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse seeking variety, autonomy, and a positive team culture.
Clinical Facilities & Equipment
The practice is well equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical facilities, including:
Digital X-ray
Dedicated operating theatre
In-house diagnostic equipment
Full range of surgical and medical capabilities
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to all patients
Assist with surgical procedures and anaesthesia monitoring
Support consultations and diagnostic testing
Manage inpatient care and recoveries
Maintain excellent clinical and hygiene standards
Deliver outstanding client communication
Work collaboratively within the veterinary team
Working Hours & Schedule
Full-time or part-time available
4-day week
1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8:30am–1:30pm)
Based at the Sidmouth branch for Saturday rota
No OOH requirements
