Key Responsibilities 

  • Prepare and review corporation tax returns 

  • Prepare personal tax returns and manage self-assessment submissions 

  • Respond to client enquiries on tax issues 

  • Ensure deadlines and HMRC compliance requirements are met  

  • Assist with tax planning and advisory work where appropriate 

  • Support junior staff and contribute to internal process improvements 

Experience and Qualifications Required 

  • Experience in tax compliance within an accountancy practice 

  • Strong understanding of personal and corporate taxation 

  • AAT / ACA / CTA or equivalent preferred, or committed to progression 

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 

  • Ability to work accurately to deadlines and manage multiple tasks
