Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturdays (9:00am–6:00pm)
Salary: £30,000-£37,000 dependent on experience
About the Role
We are representing a friendly independent small animal veterinary practice that is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their dedicated and compassionate clinical team. Both full-time and part-time working options are available.
This role is well suited to a nurse who enjoys a hands-on, varied caseload and working within a relaxed, supportive environment that prioritises patient welfare and client care.
About the Practice
The practice delivers high-quality veterinary care across a broad range of services, including:
Preventative healthcare and pet wellness
Routine and soft tissue surgery
Dental care
Emergency veterinary services
The team is known for its welcoming atmosphere and collaborative approach, ensuring excellent standards of care for both patients and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Providing inpatient and outpatient nursing care
Assisting with anaesthesia, surgery, and recovery
Supporting consultations and client education
Maintaining clinical and hygiene standards
Working collaboratively within the nursing and veterinary team
Participating in the shared Saturday rota
About You
RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse
Confident in general small animal nursing duties
Compassionate, organised, and client-focused
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexible to participate in weekend rotas
