Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Failsworth, Greater Manchester
About the Role
A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse in Failsworth to join a progressive, purpose-led veterinary organisation. This role is offered on a full-time or part-time, permanent basis, providing flexibility alongside exposure to a busy and varied caseload.
This position is ideal for an RVN who is keen to utilise their full range of nursing skills, working across medical, surgical, and orthopaedic cases in a dynamic hospital environment.
Salary: Up to £33,000
Location: Failsworth, Greater Manchester
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours, 4-day week) or part-time considered, 1 in 4.5 Saturdays (2:9 rota)

This is a well-equipped, high-volume veterinary practice in Greater Manchester, offering an excellent clinical environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and development.
Facilities include:
Three surgical theatres
Digital X-ray suite
Dedicated dental suite
Seven consulting rooms
Separate dog and cat wards

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to inpatients and outpatients
Assist in surgical procedures and monitor anaesthesia
Support diagnostic procedures including imaging and lab work
Deliver excellent client care and communication
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider team
Contribute to efficient day-to-day clinical operations
Candidate Profile
Qualified and RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse
Previous experience in a busy small animal practice or hospital
Strong clinical skills across anaesthesia, inpatient care, and procedures
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A proactive and team-oriented approach
Passion for delivering accessible, high-quality veterinary care
