Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Warrington, Cheshire
About the Role
A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse in Warrington to join a brand-new 24/7 veterinary hospital opening in Summer 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours across a 4-day week, offering an excellent balance between clinical exposure and work-life flexibility.
This role is ideal for an RVN looking to be part of an exciting new hospital launch, where you can help shape the culture, workflows, and clinical standards from day one while working across a diverse and engaging caseload.
Salary: Up to £33,000 DOE
Location: Warrington, Cheshire
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 4-day week, 1 in 4.5 weekends (2:9 rota, TOIL), shared Bank Holidays

This is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built veterinary hospital in Warrington, designed to deliver exceptional care across first opinion, referral, and out-of-hours services.
The hospital has been thoughtfully developed to support both clinical excellence and team wellbeing, providing a modern and collaborative working environment.

Seven consultation rooms
Dedicated end-of-life suite
Three operating theatres
Separate dog and cat wards
Isolation facilities
Fully equipped dental suite
Diagnostics and imaging suite
Digital X-ray

Responsibilities
Deliver high standards of nursing care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cases
Assist with surgical procedures and anaesthesia monitoring
Support advanced diagnostics and imaging
Provide clear, compassionate client communication
Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records
Collaborate with veterinary surgeons and the wider clinical team
Contribute to building a positive team culture within a new hospital environment
Candidate Profile
Qualified and RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse
Previous experience in a busy practice or hospital setting
Strong clinical skills across anaesthesia, inpatient care, and procedures
Confident working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive, team-oriented mindset
Enthusiasm for contributing to a new and growing hospital
