About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse in Portsmouth to join a purpose-driven veterinary organisation on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract (37.5 hours per week).
This role offers a varied and rewarding caseload within a fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will play a key role across all aspects of nursing, from consultations and inpatient care to theatre work and Schedule 3 procedures.

Responsibilities
The Registered Veterinary Nurse will be involved in a broad range of duties, including:
Delivering high standards of inpatient and general nursing care
Running nurse-led consultations
Assisting in theatre, including Schedule 3 procedures
Dispensing medications and supporting clinical workflows
Monitoring patient welfare and ensuring excellent patient care
Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues
Supporting and mentoring team members where appropriate
Contributing to operational efficiency and resource management
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
Be a Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered)
Be confident working in a busy, varied clinical environment
Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
Be adaptable, proactive, and solution-focused
Have a strong commitment to animal welfare and patient care
Enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues
