Responsibilities
The Veterinary Surgeon will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care across a varied caseload, including:
Conducting consultations and developing evidence-based treatment plans
Performing routine and advanced surgical procedures
Managing a diverse medical caseload with confidence
Communicating clearly and empathetically with clients
Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team
Supporting continuous improvement and clinical standards
Promoting animal welfare and responsible resource use
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS
Demonstrate strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
Be confident managing a varied and sometimes complex caseload
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Take a pragmatic, welfare-focused approach to patient care
Thrive in a collaborative and supportive team environment
Show adaptability, resilience, and a commitment to continuous learning
