Responsibilities
The Veterinary Surgeon will be responsible for delivering excellent clinical care across a varied caseload, including:
Managing a broad range of medical and surgical cases
Conducting consultations and creating evidence-based treatment plans
Performing routine and advanced surgical procedures
Communicating effectively with clients, providing clear and realistic options
Collaborating with the wider veterinary and nursing teams
Supporting continuous improvement and clinical excellence
Promoting animal welfare and responsible use of resources
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS
Demonstrate strong clinical judgement and decision-making ability
Be confident managing a varied and sometimes complex caseload
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Take a pragmatic, welfare-focused approach to patient care
Thrive within a collaborative and supportive team environment
Be adaptable, resilient, and committed to ongoing professional development
