Responsibilities
The Veterinary Surgeon will play a key role in delivering high-quality veterinary care, including:
Managing a diverse medical and surgical caseload
Conducting consultations and developing evidence-based treatment plans
Performing routine and advanced surgical procedures
Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients
Collaborating closely with the wider veterinary and nursing teams
Supporting clinical standards and continuous improvement
Promoting animal welfare and responsible resource management
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS
Demonstrate strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
Be confident handling a varied and sometimes complex caseload
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Take a pragmatic, welfare-focused approach to patient care
Thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment
Be adaptable, resilient, and committed to ongoing professional development
